My wife and I went to Israel with Justin. We not only got to see and walk in places where key events in the Bible took place, but there was a spiritual dimension that Justin brought to our trip that allowed us to connect with the story of the Bible in a way that made it even more real and alive.

When should I book my flight to arrive/depart?
After the trip has been confirmed (approximately August 1st), recommended arrival and departure times will be provided for you. If you need assistance in booking your flight, our tour agent at Trans-global Travel will be able to help you.
Is This Trip Only for Those Who Are Affiliated with the Kesher Forum?
No. Anyone from anywhere can register. We are anticipating approximately 20-25 people in our group.
Is There a Minimum (or Maximum) Age to Participate?
No, but we recommend this trip for those no younger than middle school and for those who can easily handle walking approximately 1-2 miles a day. Please note that children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
How Is Lodging Determined?
Registration pricing is based on double occupancy. You can also add a third person to your room, but the cost of the trip will remain the same for each participant. If you are traveling alone, you will be assigned to your own room and your package price will have an additional fee of $885.
Am I Required to Purchase Travel Insurance?
Travel insurance is not required but is strongly recommended. Click HERE for an option recommended by our tour agent.
What Documentation Is Necessary for Travel to Israel?
A valid passport with an expiration date no less than 6 months after the return date of the trip is required. There are no exceptions to this policy. A travel visa is not required.
Am I Required to Join for the Entire Trip?
No, but the best experience will be to stay the whole time. There is no cost adjustment if you arrive late or leave early. You may, however, want to consider dovetailing a trip to Petra or Egypt before or after your trip. Our tour agent can assist you with making these arrangements.
What Kind of Weather Should I Expect?
November's average temperatures fall in the range of low 60s to mid-70s (hotter at the Dead Sea), with a handful of rainy days. Most days you may start out with a light jacket or sweater, by midday take it off, and put it on again come evening.
How Safe Is Traveling to Israel?
While Israel is a very safe country to visit and tour, your safety is a top priority. We use various measures to ensure the safety of participants, but we also encourage participants to take precautions they normally would when traveling to another city or country. Justin shares more information on this in his blog—Is It Safe To Go To Israel?
Will I Get Any Pre-Trip Preparation Info and Recommended Reading Materials?
Yes. You'll be provided a list of packing recommendations and suggested reading material. Feel free to get a head start now. If you're interested in getting excited about the trip, read Finding Jesus in Israel by Buck Storm. If you're interested in digging into the Jewish/Old Testament foundations of the Christian faith, read The Forgotten Jesus: How Western Christians Should Follow an Eastern Rabbi by Robby Gallaty And if you're interested in better understanding the complexities and challenges of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, read Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor by Yossi Klein Halevi. It is also highly recommended that you watch HOPE IN THE HOLY LAND: Delving Beneath the Surface of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, an award-winning documentary co-created & produced by Justin that released in May 2021.
Who Do I Contact If I Have Questions?
Contact Justin Kron at email@example.com and he will get back to you ASAP.
Walk about Zion, go around her,
count her towers,
consider well her ramparts,
view her citadels,
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.
For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end.
